You’ll be picked up from ICEHOTEL and taken to Ofelas Icelandic horse farm, passing Sweden's highest mountain range with the chance to spot moose and other wildlife. Once we reach Rimisaari, we’ll warm up by a crackling open fire and enjoy some coffee. For those eager to ski more, there’s the option to continue on the prepared loop along the river.

For air travel, we recommend flying into Kiruna Airport. There are convenient flights available from the UK via Stockholm to Kiruna. SAS offers daily flights year-round. Once you arrive, we can arrange a transfer from Kiruna airport to Ice Hotel, approximately a 15-minute drive away.

The temperature inside the hotel stays between -5 to -7°C. We provide expedition-grade sleeping bags, tested for extreme conditions, so you’ll be comfortable with just thermals, a hat, warm socks, and a mid-layer jumper.
A night in an ice room or art suite, followed by a couple of nights in a warm room, is the perfect combination. It allows you to enjoy wilderness excursions during the day, knowing you’ll have a cosy warm room to return to in the evening.
When staying in an ice room or art suite, you can store your belongings in a locker or booth in the warm service building, just a few meters from the hotel and staffed 24/7. The Deluxe Suites 365 feature a private bathroom with a shower and toilet directly connected to the bedroom. Additionally, the heated relaxation area offers storage for your belongings.
During the day, Icehotel is open to the public, allowing day visitors and guests to explore all rooms, except the reserved Deluxe Suites. Overnight guests can access their rooms starting at 6 pm. Check-in for warm rooms is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am.
