The Torne River is one of Sweden’s national rivers and last untouched waters. Blocks of ice are carved from the Torne River each year to create the ICEHOTEL in a new guise every winter and the hotel melts back into the river in the spring.
By staying in a Torne River Aurora Hut, you will not only experience a unique type of accommodation, but you are also uninterrupted by any light pollution giving you some of the best views of the Northern Lights.
