Package Overview

September is a great month to see the Northern Lights. In 2017 it became possible to stay at ICEHOTEL in their cold rooms 365 days of the year. So our September options are ideal for those who want to have an Arctic experience when it’s not quite so cold. September in the Arctic is beautiful; the Northern Lights season as well as golden autumn starts in September. If you want the chance to see the Northern Lights and aren’t too fussed for snow, this is the ideal package for you.

For the Northern Lights September is a great month. Additionally it’s a truly beautiful time to visit Sweden – to be fair every month of the year is fabulous, but September in Swedish Lapland is really special. With this in mind, we’ve combined two “September Special” packages to enable you to experience Autumn in Sweden.

As with all of our packages, we can modify both of these packages to suit any specific requirements you may have – for example if you just want to stay in warm accommodation or add more activities – just let us know!

Return flights from Heathrow or Gatwick (occasionally from Manchester) via Stockholm – Kiruna
Return airport transfers
1 night in an Art Suite ice room in the ICEHOTEL 365
2 nights in a warm Arctic Chalet at ICEHOTEL – with small living area, private shower and WC
Bed and breakfast
7 hour River Rafting on the Torne River with traditional wilderness lunch – the perfect mixture of calm waters and thrilling white rapids
2.5 hour ATV Husky Safari (two people per ATV husky ride)
3 hour Northern Lights Safari at the Aurora Camp
ATOL & ABTA Protection for your peace of mind
