Imagine charming log cabins nestled in the forest, surrounded by snow-covered trees that sparkle in the crisp, fresh air. Plus, enjoy a variety of exciting activities designed for you and your family to create unforgettable memories together.

Return direct flights from Gatwick to Ivalo (indirect via Helsinki available from Manchester or Heathrow)

Return airport transfers – from Ivalo airport to resort/from resort to Ivalo airport.
Half board – breakfast and 3 course evening meal
2 nights in a log cabin west with double bed, bunk bed, living area, fireplace, basic kitchenette, WC, shower and private sauna.
1 night in a large thermal glass igloo west with WC, shower, and private sauna – with heated glass and facing the northern sky they are perfect for viewing the Auroras from the comfort of your bed.
2-hour daytime husky safari
2-hour daytime reindeer sleigh safari
1.5-hour Aurora horse sleigh safari
Thermal clothing included for all excursions – Arctic thermal snow suit and snow boots.

Day 1: Welcome to Kakslauttanen

Return direct flights from Gatwick to Ivalo (indirect via Helsinki available from Manchester or Heathrow)
Transfer from Ivalo airport to Kakslauttanen (approx. 30 minutes)
Evening meal
Check into Log Cabin

Day 2: Husky Safari & Horse Sleigh Ride

Breakfast
2-hour Husky safari – Meet the enthusiastic huskies, already eager to run as they wait by the sleds. After a brief lesson on steering, braking, and handling the team, you’ll set off—one person seated, the other driving, with a chance to switch halfway. Glide through the snowy forest, sharing the joy with the dogs. Back at the farm, thank your team and warm up with a hot drink as your guide shares stories from the world of huskies.

1.5-hour Aurora Horse sleigh safari – Two strong and noble Finn horses pull a wooden sleigh into the peaceful forest, pausing to observe if the Northern Lights will show themselves against the backdrop of the night sky. During the break, you can enjoy a hot drink and learn about the culture and nature of Lapland.

Day 3: Reindeer Sleigh Ride & Glass Igloo

Breakfast
2-hour Reindeer sleigh safari – After photo opportunity with reindeer it’s time to sit comfortably in the sledge under warm blankets and head into the wilderness. The pace is calm, and the guests can relax, breath in the fresh air and listen to the soundscape of the arctic wilderness. After the ride we enter to a traditional reindeer herder’s shelter and home “kota” to enjoy hot juice and a Finnish treat. Guests will also learn about the fascinating nature and culture of the region.
