Your adventure begins in the bustling Arctic village of Longyearbyen, Norway. Located well above the Arctic Circle, Longyearbyen is a delightful village with all the comforts of home and the ideal home base for this first class adventure.

Our dash to the North Pole starts with a charter flight to the Polar ice station “Barneo”, located roughly sixty miles from the North Pole (flight time approximately 2.5 hours from Longyearbyen). We overnight on the pack ice in heated tents with only Ice between us and the Arctic Sea. The next morning board a helicopter for the final leg to the top of the world. Once at the North Pole we’ll celebrate with Champagne, lots of photos to document your arrival and a call home from the top of the world.

Package Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from your accommodation to the airport for a charter flight to a remote Arctic gateway settlement (approx. 3.5 hours by AN-74 aircraft).
Upon arrival, you’ll check in to a local guesthouse for rest and meals.
Information regarding your upcoming polar expedition — including flight timings and conditions at the ice base — will be provided during an evening briefing led by the support team. This is also a chance to ask any last-minute questions.
Later, enjoy a guided visit to a small museum dedicated to regional paleontology and Arctic history.
Overnight stay at the guesthouse.

Day 2

Depart by AN-74 aircraft for a flight toward the drifting Arctic ice base near 89° North (approx. 5 hours, with a refueling stop en route on a high Arctic island).
After arrival at the base, you’ll be introduced to the site and settled into shared heated expedition tents (typically housing 10–12 guests each).
Weather permitting, a helicopter will then take you to the Geographic North Pole (flight time approx. 40 minutes).
Celebrate reaching this extraordinary destination with around an hour to explore, take photos, and soak in the moment.
Return to the base by helicopter for dinner, rest, and the awarding of commemorative certificates. Meals are provided throughout the stay. Overnight on the ice in heated tents.

Day 3

Enjoy full meals and time to explore the surroundings of the ice base — a rare opportunity to experience the Arctic Ocean ice sheet up close.
Later in the day, return flight to the Arctic gateway settlement by AN-74 (approx. 5 hours).
Meals and overnight accommodation at the same guesthouse.

Day 4

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to the original departure city (approx. 3.5 hours).
Transfer to your hotel. End of tour.
