Day 1: Welcome to Mattarahkka

Flights from Heathrow or Manchester via Stockholm
Transfer from Kiruna airport to Mattarahkka (approx. 15 minutes)

Day 2: Dogsledding, ICEHOTEL, and Northern Lights

Breakfast
3-hour Dogsledding – Sit back and relax on warm reindeer skins in a large wooden sled as your guide takes you through the magical winter landscapes of Oinakka. Starting near the famous ICEHOTEL, you’ll glide past snowy forests, frozen lakes, and swamps. Along the way, enjoy a traditional Swedish fika—hot drinks and cookies—by the campfire, while your guide shares stories about the Sámi and local wildlife.
Lunch
Visit to Ice Hotel – After a fast-paced dog sled ride through the forest, the guide leaves you at the Icehotel, where you can feast on a Swedish buffet of dishes and experience the magical original ICHOTEL made of snow and ice, as well as the revolutionary ICEHOTEL 365.
5-hour Northern Lights excursion with 2 course dinner – Spend a magical evening around a crackling fire in the tipi at Lodge Máttaráhkka. Ride easy-to-handle snowmobiles up Mt. Ednamvárri for stunning views of the Abisko Alps, far from light pollution—perfect for Aurora spotting. Enjoy a warm dinner in the tipi, served before or after the tour depending on the Northern Lights. Your guide will capture photos throughout the evening for lasting memories.

Day 3: Snowmobile Safari & Hot Tub Experience

Breakfast
5-hour Snowmobile safari with lunch – Embark on a one-of-a-kind Arctic adventure—Kiruna’s only premium snowmobile safari into the heart of the wilderness. Ride along scenic, well-maintained trails to the stunning Lapland Viewpoint, where panoramic views of Sweden’s highest peaks await. Pause at a frozen lake to enjoy the silence, brew fresh coffee over an open fire, and savour a traditional Swedish fika. For those feeling adventurous, try ice fishing and experience a true Arctic tradition.
Hot tub experience and 3 course dinner – Sink into the warm water, surrounded by stars, and watch the Aurora dance above—no need for heavy winter gear. Located away from light pollution, the Lodge offers a perfect setting for this unforgettable experience.
