The Aurora Cabin provides a one-of-a-kind way to experience Inari. From the comfort of your bed, you can gaze at a sky filled with stars or watch the breathtaking Northern Lights unfold above you. The cabin’s unique laser-heated glass roof opens directly to the northern sky, right above the bed, offering a mesmerizing view. Inside, the cabin is equipped with twin beds and a sofa bed, accommodating up to four guests.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Inari or River Nukkumajoki, Inari’s Log Cabins offer a truly enchanting way to experience Lapland. Upstairs, the loft provides 3 to 4 single beds, perfect for additional guests. This evening tour takes you across the frozen Lake Inari, where you’ll be comfortably seated in a sleigh pulled by your guide's snowmobile. You’ll be transported to an aurora camp, far from any light pollution, offering a unique opportunity to witness and photograph the Northern Lights. At the camp, your guide will light a fire and serve warm drinks and snacks to keep you cozy while you enjoy the spectacular display.
2.5 hour Aurora heated sledge
Picture the serene, snow-covered wilderness and the magical Northern Lights above you. Your guide will tow the sleigh with a snowmobile through the quiet, snowy landscape, far from the light pollution of nearby settlements. We’ll wait for the Northern Lights to appear in comfort by the fire, sipping hot drinks and listening to stories until the first flare hopefully lights up the sky. It’s time to unwind and take in the stars, the moon, perhaps the Northern Lights dancing overhead, the constellations, snowy trees, and the sparkling snow-covered wilderness... This evening tour takes you to the frozen Lake Inari in search of the Northern Lights. Your guide will lead you to open areas where the chances of spotting the Aurora are highest. The driving distance will depend on the weather conditions, and if the Northern Lights appear, we’ll stop to enjoy the stunning display. Along the way, your guide will light a campfire and serve warm drinks to keep you cosy.
4 hour Snowmobile adventure
Snowmobiling is a thrilling activity and a popular pastime for locals. Once you hop on a snowmobile, you'll have access to endless wilderness, countless trails, and stunning scenery. All snowmobiling activities will begin with a safety briefing. We’ll also enjoy a delicious lunch by the open fire. To drive the snowmobile, participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license in Finland.

2 hour Reindeer sleigh ride
Embark on a magical journey thourgh the pristine landscapes of Inari.We will start with a transfer from the hotel to the reindeer farm. Then, you will hop on a reindeer sleigh ride, comfortably seated. Enjoy the beautiful views of frozen lakes, snowy forests, and the peaceful Arctic landscape. After the ride, before heading back to the hotel, you will enjoy some warm drinks while our guide shares insights about the lives of reindeer.
2 hour Meet the reindeer
What does a reindeer eat in the fells during winter? How does a reindeer’s muzzle feel? And how does a reindeer survive in temperatures as low as -45°C? It’s time to find out! Today, you’ll meet a local reindeer herder and his reindeer—an experience that’s often one of the most memorable for our visitors. At the reindeer farm, you’ll learn fascinating facts about reindeer, the life of a reindeer herder, and Sámi culture. This guided trip will be conducted by car.
4 hour Snowshoeing adventure
The deep snow crunching beneath your shoes, the snow-covered trees, and the pearly-white willow grouse watching from a distance – winter nature is a magical world of its own. Along the way, you’ll spot animal tracks in the snow, admire the snow-clad forests, and, if you're lucky, encounter some wildlife. A delicious lunch will be served by an open fire during this peaceful walk. This trip is ideal for photographers and nature enthusiasts, as snowshoeing is a truly eco-friendly activity.
2.5 hour Aurora snowshoeing
Walking through the dark forests, illuminated by the moonlight and the dance of the Northern Lights, is an unforgettable experience. Warm up by the campfire and await the Auroras, as hot drinks are prepared over the open fire.
2 hour Gentle snowshoeing
We will equip you with snowshoes and poles if preferred. We are going to head for a nice little walk in the surrounding nature. Along the way, our guide will share interesting stories and information about the Finnish nature and animals. This is a perfect way to explore the surroundings in peace.
2 hours Ice fishing experience
Join our guide on an ice fishing adventure on the ice of Lake Inari, the third biggest lake in Finland. Our journey will start with a short snowmobile sleigh ride on the ice to our fishing place. Once we have reached our destination our guide will teach us the secrets of this popular winter activity among the locals. We will learn how to drill holes to the ice, how to operate the fishing gear and then it’s time to try our luck. Some warm drinks are served to keep us warm while we wait for the fish to bite in the beautiful scenery of the arctic lake.
4 hour Ice fishing trip with snowmobile sleigh
Spend the day outdoors and discover the art of winter fishing. Along the way, you’ll learn fascinating facts about life in the North. We’ll enjoy a scenic snowmobile sleigh ride to the best ice fishing spots, where our guide will teach us how to drill holes in the ice. Then, we’ll compete to see who the best fisherman is. The day also includes a delicious lunch cooked over an open fire.
2 hour Cross country skiing
In the past, cross-country skiing was the primary means of transportation, and it’s a skill deeply ingrained in Finnish culture. There’s no quieter way to glide through snowy, frozen landscapes than on cross-country skis. Our guide will teach you how to use the skis, and once everyone is comfortable, we’ll take a leisurely loop through the surrounding nature. We’ll ski at a relaxed pace, stopping to take photos and enjoy warm drinks along the way.
3 hour E-Fatbike tour
This guided e-fatbike tour takes you through the best trails in Inari. With the help of electric fatbikes, you'll be able to explore stunning landscapes that would be challenging or time-consuming to reach on foot. Midway through the tour, we’ll stop to light a fire and enjoy warm drinks and a snack.
3 hour Husky safari
Feel the excitement of the dogs and immerse yourself in the peaceful silence of nature. Each sled accommodates two guests, with one person mushing while the other relaxes in the sleigh. Halfway through the journey, you’ll switch roles, giving both of you the chance to experience the thrill of mushing.
For air travel, we recommend flying into Ivalo Airport. There are convenient flights available from the UK via Helsinki to Ivalo, as well as some direct routes. Finnair offers daily flights year-round. Once you arrive, we can arrange a transfer from Ivalo Airport to Inari, approximately a 45-minute drive away.

Kindly note that Inari operates as a cash-free establishment. The reception and sales office accept all major credit cards. However, the restaurant accepts all major credit cards except American Express.
For outdoor winter activities, a winter clothing package is included which includes thermal overalls, boots, and gloves. This is included in all the ready-made packages at Inari. In addition to the provided gear, we recommend bringing good base and mid-layers. This includes thermal underwear, a fleece jacket or wool sweater, a beanie, a scarf, and wool socks. It’s also a good idea to have lighter clothing for warmer days too. We advise against cotton-based materials because they get wet easily and lose their insulating properties.
The best time to see the Northern Lights is from end of August to mid-April. With mid-January to mid-March typically being the best time in the winter season.
Children under 15 years old participating in snowmobile activities will sit on a sleigh pulled by the guides snowmobile.
When participating in any of our activities, it is important that you inform our guides about any health or kinematic issues beforehand. Our snowmobile and husky safaris are not recommended for pregnant women due to the vibrations of uneven tracks and the exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles. There is a small crash risk involved too, this is due to the speed, conditions, and type of activity. Please discuss with your doctor if you feel unsure about the activities you are taking part in.
Smoking is allowed outdoors. Smoking and vaping indoors is strictly forbidden and subject to a penalty of 1000EUR.
