This resort allows you to experience nature from a whole new perspective and offers the opportunity to see the Northern Lights from your treetop bed. The hotel is packed with character as well as charm and is perfectly located for a variety of winter activities.
Starting at
Arctic Tree House suites have a high-quality double bed or two separate beds, and some also have a nest-like extra bed. The centrepiece of the stylishly decorated room is the panoramic window that offers views of the skies over the treetops. The beds are positioned to best enable enjoyment of the views while comfortably lying down. Facilities in the bathroom include underfloor heating and rain shower heads.
The tree suites come complete with free WIFI, espresso machine, coffee tableware, kettle, safe, minibar/fridge, flat screen TV and air conditioning.
Arctic Glass Houses have an atmosphere-rich lounge, two bedrooms with high-standard double beds and an impressively fitted kitchenette. The lounge has a real fireplace, offering a cosy place to warm yourselves up after an active day of Arctic adventures. Cabin amenities also include your own private sauna and spacious decking area offering spectacular views of the northern skies. The sofa in the lounge is also a sofa bed for two people.
The Glass House comes complete with two bathrooms, one has a shower and toilet and the other the same but also inclusive of a private sauna, lounge, fireplace, flat screen TV, free WIFI, kitchenette, espresso machine, electric hob, kitchen sink, coffee tableware, kettle, safe, minibar/fridge, spacious decking area, and air-conditioning.
Panoramic restaurant Rakas, located in the main building of Arctic Tree House Hotel, charms with its unique ambiance and menu of meals made with local Lappish ingredients prepared with a modern twist. Sitting by the beckoning fireplace beneath the pine cone lamps, delicious flavours create out-of-the-ordinary, divinely tasty moments.

Enjoy tasty dinner by the roaring fire in our spacious and cosy sauna lodge. We use local ingredients in our menu. All menus may be customised to your wishes and dietary requirements.
Traditional indoor sauna can take up to 40 persons. It has separate men’s and women’s dressing rooms and spacious lounge with fireplace. There is also an authentic smoke sauna next to the lake. You can dip into the waters of Lake Sieri in wintertime and enjoy ice swimming. The third sauna, the modern version of infrared sauna gently caresses your muscles. Relax in the two Jacuzzis underneath the Northern sky.

Our guide will take us away from the city to the perfect spot with an unobstructed view of the sky, where we can enjoy a Lappish picnic—hopefully beneath the glowing Auroras. Transfers are provided by car or bus.

Don’t miss the opportunity to capture the magic of the Northern Lights! Our tour will take you to various locations in Lapland, offering the best chances to chase the auroras. Throughout the experience, our guide will take photos of you, and you’ll also learn tips and tricks for setting up your own camera for night photography. If luck is on our side, we may witness the auroras dancing in the sky. Regardless, you’ll enjoy a wonderful evening with stunning photos as a lasting memory.

Imagine dipping into a frozen lake beneath the Northern Lights, letting your mind relax in the most unexpected way. Sounds bizarre, right? But tonight, it’s possible! Follow our guide along lesser-known tracks through the backwoods, leading to breathtaking natural sights only accessible on longer journeys. We'll stop for a lunch break in the wilderness, where our guide will prepare a delicious Lappish meal over an open fire.
4-hour Family fun with snowmobiles
This is a day to remember for the whole family, with snowmobiling for adults and mini snowmobiles for the kids! After the adults have their snowmobile adventure, the little ones can enjoy their turn on mini snowmobiles, while the adults relax and grill sausages around the campfire. Don’t forget to capture those perfect family photos to keep the memories of this amazing day alive!

Visit a local reindeer farm, ride a snowmobile, and experience a short reindeer sleigh ride. Afterward, warm up with hot drinks and hear fascinating stories about reindeer herding before returning to the city.

(1 hour reindeer safari) Join us for our favourite day on an authentic reindeer safari! Settle into a cosy sleigh, relax, take in the snowy scenery, and enjoy the gentle sounds of the reindeer caravan. By the warmth of a campfire, a local herder will treat you to coffee and a cinnamon bun while sharing stories from a life spent with reindeer.
3.5-hour Reindeer safari to ice fishing lake
This safari offers a glimpse into traditional life in Lapland. Ride through the forest in a reindeer-drawn sleigh to a frozen lake, where your guide will show you how to drill a hole in the ice and prepare fishing gear. Try your luck at catching the fish of the day! The experience ends with a small Lappish barbecue by the fire—grilled sausages included—before heading back to the farm.
2.5-hour Evening reindeer safari
This will be a night to remember! After a short drive, we arrive at a local reindeer farm to begin our reindeer adventure. Glide through the forest in a cosy reindeer sleigh, with the possibility of the Northern Lights dancing above us. After the ride, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a bun by the campfire.
6-hour Santa and his reindeer
Enjoy a magical Christmas outing for the whole family! Meet Santa Claus and explore Santa’s Village, including a visit to his Official Post Office. Then, head to the Wilderness Resort for a tasty lunch in a cosy log manor. After lunch, meet the resident reindeer and enjoy a peaceful sleigh ride through snowy scenery. Kids can finish the day with an exciting mini snowmobile ride!
7-10km Husky safari
Friendly huskies greet you at the local farm, but once the sled departs, they fall silent and focus on the journey ahead. Enjoy the peaceful ride through stunning wilderness, with a break for photos along the way. Each sled is shared by two people, with the option to switch drivers. The trail averages 10 km, though length may vary depending on weather and participants’ skill level.
12-17km Husky safari
Feel your heart race as you glide through the pristine winter forest of the Arctic Circle on a thrilling husky safari! Get to know your team of Arctic dogs and learn the basics of mushing and sled handling. After a brief driving lesson, two people share a sled for a 12–17 km ride, with a midway break to switch drivers. After the adventure, visit the husky kennel to learn more about life on the farm while enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat.
6-hour Snowmobiling and Ice fishing
Hop on a snowmobile and journey through frozen rivers and forests to a secluded winter fishing spot in the heart of the Arctic wilderness. Our guide will show you how to drill an ice hole and set up your fishing gear. While you try your luck at fishing, the guide will prepare a delicious outdoor soup—hopefully with the catch of the day!
