Whether you’re starting your day with a rich breakfast or unwinding with a delicious dinner, the restaurant promises a culinary experience that celebrates the beauty of Lapland.

Lounge – The perfect spot to relax by the fireplace with a drink after a day exploring our stunning landscape! With the fire crackling and soft music in the background, it’s the ideal setting to unwind. The Tilted Reindeer is open after dinner and also available for a cozy retreat following your activities.

Sauna and Jacuzzi – The perfect spot to unwind after a day of activities in our breathtaking surroundings. In addition to the sauna, you can also enjoy a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi! If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights while you relax in the warm water. The sauna is wood-heated, and there’s a cosy changing room complete with a fireplace for added comfort.

Gym – Small but well-equipped for a good workout, the gym is free for all our guests staying overnight, and you can obtain the key from the kitchen. A deposit of 15 euros is required in case you forget to return the key, and it will be used for printing a new tag. The deposit will be refunded when you return the key.

Food & Drink – Savor the flavors of the season from the Torne River Valley while taking in the breathtaking view of the Lainio River from our dining room. The menus feature locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the very best that the surrounding nature has to offer. They take pride in serving traditional, expertly crafted dishes that are unique to this region. Riding a snowmobile through untouched nature is an exhilarating and unforgettable adventure. With the snowmobile, we can access remote places that remain nearly unreachable for most of the year. The journey across the sparkling snow is truly a unique experience. The surrounding landscape offers breathtaking views, while the snowmobile ride itself gives an incredible sense of freedom.

4 hour Meet the reindeer

Reindeer have always played a central role in the traditional life of Sápmi (Lapland). Join us on a reindeer safari and get up close with these incredible and mythical creatures. As we journey through the stunning, vast landscape, there will be plenty of opportunities to pause for photos and take in the beauty around you. Out in the wilderness, we’ll serve an outdoor lunch, enjoyed in the company of the reindeer. And of course, we’ll brew fresh coffee over an open fire, just as it should be—under the open sky, surrounded by nature.

Let us guide you on a snowshoe trek through the peaceful winter wonderland of Swedish Lapland. With the help of snowshoes, we can easily venture into the forest, as the wide shoes effortlessly support our weight on the snow. Along the way, we’ll stop to capture stunning photos and enjoy a cozy lunch or coffee, prepared over an open fire, as we journey through the untouched wilds of Swedish Lapland.

Ice Fishing

Imagine stepping directly onto the ice of a frozen lake and setting up camp in the middle of the vast, icy landscape. That’s the experience of ice fishing. Venture out onto the lake, drill a hole, and explore the world beneath the surface. We’ll build a fire to brew your coffee and prepare lunch while we set up camp and wait for the fish to bite. Ice fishing is a peaceful and tranquil experience that requires a little patience, allowing you the perfect opportunity to soak in the breathtaking nature around you.

2-3 hour Ice driving

Along the banks of the Lainio River, we've created a unique race track for our four-wheel-drive quads. This challenging course winds through stunning scenery, past farms and abandoned houses, offering an adrenaline-pumping experience. It’s a thrill to navigate the tight bends, taking ice driving to the next level. The feeling of mastering the drift and smoothly gliding around the icy corners is truly incredible, making for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of nature.

Meet the huskies

At the husky farm, the dogs are eager and barking with excitement, ready for the adventure ahead. As soon as the sled is released, they fall silent, focused on their mission, and before long, you’re gliding through the frozen marshes. Behind our magnificent huskies, you’ll traverse a stunning winter landscape, with every moment offering a breathtaking view.

Hotel Location

For air travel, we recommend flying into Kiruna Airport. There are convenient flights available from the UK via Stockholm to Kiruna. SAS offers daily flights year-round. Once you arrive, we can arrange a transfer from Kiruna Airport to Lapland Guesthouse, approximately a 1 hour and 40 minute drive.
