Day 1: Welcome to Muotka

Direct flight from Gatwick to Ivalo (indirect flights available from Heathrow and Manchester)
Transfer from Ivalo airport to Muotka Wilderness Hotel (approx. 30 minutes)
Evening meal
Check into Wilderness room

Day 2: Husky Safari & Aurora Camp

Breakfast
2 hour Husky Safari – Embark on a husky adventure through breathtaking lakes and forests, starting with a brief sled-handling lesson. As the huskies eagerly take off, enjoy the peaceful silence of the snowy landscape. Each two-person sled allows one guest to mush while the other rides, with a chance to switch halfway through.

2.5 hour Aurora camp by snowmobile safari – Begin your evening with a cosy sleigh ride pulled by a snowmobile through the breathtaking Arctic wilderness. You’ll arrive at a remote camp—far from light pollution—perfect for viewing the Northern Lights. Enjoy hot drinks, good company, and one of the best chances to witness the magical Auroras in the northern sky.

Day 3: Reindeer Day & Aurora Snowshoeing

Breakfast
4 hour Reindeer day with snowmobile safari – After a snowmobiling lesson and safety briefing, set out on a peaceful daytime adventure through stunning Arctic landscapes. Along the way, you’ll meet and feed friendly reindeer—some may even eat straight from your hand. Your guide will share stories about Sámi culture and life in the North, and a warm lunch will be served during the journey.
Evening meal
2.5 hour Aurora snowshoeing – Join us for a peaceful snowshoe walk through the magical winter landscape, lit by the moon and, with luck, the Northern Lights. Equipped with snowshoes and poles, you’ll explore the serene surroundings while your guide shares captivating stories about Finnish nature and wildlife. We’ll pause by a cosy campfire to enjoy warm drinks and watch the sky for the Auroras.
