Day 1: Welcome to Juutua Wilderness Hotel

Flights to Ivalo via Helsinki from Heathrow or Manchester (some direct flights available upon request)
Transfer to Juuutua wilderness resort from airport (approx. 40-45 minutes)

Day 2: Snowmobile and 5 Course Dinner

2-hour Snowmobile safari – This tour offers a quick yet thrilling snowmobile ride through the Arctic landscape. After a safety briefing and driving lesson with our guide, you’ll hit the trails for an exciting ride through snowy surroundings—a perfect taste of winter fun.

Day 3: Reindeer, Snowshoeing and Aurora Workshop

Breakfast
2-hour Meet the reindeer – What does a reindeer eat in the fells in wintertime? What does a reindeer’s muzzle feel like? How does a reindeer survive outside in -45 degrees centigrade? It is time to find out! Today you will meet a local reindeer herder and his reindeer. That visit is one of the top memories for our visitors. At the reindeer farm you will learn interesting information about the reindeer and the life of a reindeer herder and Sami culture. This guided trip will be made by car.

2-hour Gentle snowshoeing – A peaceful walk through the snowy landscape. As we go, our guide will share stories about Finnish nature and wildlife. It’s a relaxing way to take in the beauty of winter at your own pace.
Evening meal
1 hour Aurora workshop – Learn all about the Northern Lights from our expert guides, who’ll explain the science in a simple, engaging way. Bring your camera—we’ll help you set it up to capture stunning aurora photos. It’s the perfect mix of learning and experiencing the magic of the Aurora.

Day 4: Husky and Aurora Camp

Breakfast
3-hour Husky safari – Experience the thrill of husky sledding through breathtaking lakes and forests. After a quick lesson, feel the excitement as the huskies take off, pulling you through the peaceful winter landscape. Two guests share a sled—one drives, one rides—and you’ll switch halfway so both can enjoy mushing.

5-hour Aurora camp by snowmobile sleigh – Begin with a cosy sleigh ride through the Arctic wilderness, pulled by your guide’s snowmobile. At the camp, enjoy hot drinks and good company as you watch the night sky—far from light pollution and perfect for spotting the Northern Lights.
