And, if you're fortunate, the Aurora Borealis—the Northern Lights—may appear to light up your path. After your ride, relax by a campfire, savoring hot beverages and traditional Lappish flatbread. 3.5 hour Aurora Borealis trip to Lappish Hut by snowmobile

Embark on a magical Arctic night adventure, gliding through a snow-covered forest and across a frozen lake. With a bit of luck, you’ll be surrounded by a clear sky, illuminated by the moon and stars. And, if you're fortunate, the Aurora Borealis may grace you with its presence, lighting up the night sky as it guides your way.

3-4 hour Snowmobile safari to the reindeer farm

This snowmobile safari takes you to a traditional reindeer farm, where you'll gain insight into the fascinating world of Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. The adventure begins with a snowmobile driving instruction, ensuring you're ready for the journey. Afterward, we head to Laivala, a historic reindeer farm that has been passed down through three generations. With over 300 reindeer, the farm offers a true glimpse into the life of a reindeer herder, making this a unique and immersive cultural experience.

Husky Safari

30 minute husky safari

One adult takes the reins as the driver, while the other sits back and enjoys the ride, taking in the stunning natural scenery from the sled. Children ride along with the adults on the same sled. The 5 km route winds through the heart of the forest, circling the Ranua Wildlife Park. After the adventure, you’ll have the chance to thank the huskies by giving them a gentle pet, a rewarding end to your unforgettable safari experience.

2 hour Husky safari

This is our most popular husky safari. The adventure begins with a driving instruction session guided by one of our experts, after which we’ll set off on the trail. One adult will drive the sled while the other enjoys the ride, taking in the beautiful surroundings. The safari covers approximately 14-20 km, and halfway through, we’ll take a break where you can switch places. It’s also a perfect opportunity to capture the moment with some photos.

Full day husky safari

This thrilling husky safari spans 35-45 km, offering an incredible opportunity to experience the art of husky sled driving while immersing yourself in the peaceful silence of nature. Along the way, a field lunch will be provided by the guide, adding a special touch to your adventure. The journey begins with a detailed driving instruction, ensuring you can safely steer the husky sled. One adult will take the role of the driver while the other relaxes and enjoys the stunning scenery from the sled. Throughout the safari, there will be breaks where you can switch places, making it a fun and dynamic experience for everyone.

Join us for an exclusive late-night Northern Lights excursion through the enchanting forests of Lapland. 45 minute Meet Santa

You'll hop into a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile, which will whisk you through the snow-covered landscape on your way to Santa’s secret cabin. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes, after which you’ll follow a lantern-lit path on foot to the hidden cabin. Here, an unforgettable meeting with Santa Claus awaits! During your visit, which lasts about 10-15 minutes, Santa will greet the children with small gifts, and you’ll have the opportunity to take photos with him. After the magical encounter, your guide will escort you back to the Safari House.

45 minute Reindeer safari Experience the charm of a traditional Lapland reindeer ride through a serene winter forest landscape! This family-friendly activity includes a 3 km reindeer sleigh ride, lasting approximately 30 minutes. The safari also includes convenient transfers from the safari house to the reindeer farm. The total duration of the safari, including transfer time, is about 1 hour and 10 minutes, giving you ample time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the unique experience of riding in a reindeer-drawn sleigh.

2 hour Ice skating and sledging by a frozen pond Welcome to a winter wonderland, where adventure and excitement await at every corner! This enchanting paradise offers a day filled with fun winter activities. Feel the rush as you race down the hill, breathing in the crisp winter air. Glide gracefully across the ice rink on skates or kick-sleds while enjoying the picturesque snowy landscape. Afterward, gather around a crackling campfire, roast marshmallows, and make memories with family and friends in the warmth of the fire.

Hotel Location

For air travel, we recommend flying into Rovaniemi Airport. There are convenient direct flights available from the UK to Rovaniemi, as well as some indirect routes via Helsinki. Once you arrive, we can arrange a transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to Ranua Resort, approximately a 60-minute drive away.
