What our Arctic travellers say

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the check-in/check-out times?

Igloo check-in from 15:00 and check-out at 11:30. Snow rooms are available from 21:00 with check-out at 10:00.

How cold is the Snow Hotel?

The temperature inside the snow hotel is constantly between 0 and -5C, even though the temperature outside can be as low as -35C!

Can we see the Northern Lights from the resort?

Our hotel area offers a great setting for seeing the Northern Lights, as we are located far from the city lights. You can ensure your chance to see the Northern Lights with the help of our Northern Lights Watcher, who will make sure you don’t miss the Northern Lights. Our Northern Lights Watcher monitors the sky and alerts the residents of the glass igloos and the Snow Hotel to the spot as soon as something happens in the sky.

Can we bring luggage to our room?

If you stay in a glass igloo – yes you can, as there is enough space for suitcases. If you are staying at the snow hotel, we recommend that you take your luggage to our emergency accommodation, where you will find our locked storage lockers. As your room is made of snow and ice, we recommend that you only take the essentials you will need during the night into your room, as your luggage may get cold and damp.

Is there WiFi?

We like to think that once you are here in the wilderness, you can also take a break from technology and the internet – but we also understand the need to get online to get in touch with friends and family. This is why we offer complimentary WiFi in our accommodations, reception and restaurant areas.
