Package Overview

Brandon Lodge in Sweden offers an affordable family friendly Arctic adventure. The package accommodates everything you need for a great price. All the listed activities start right in front of your accommodation. This means you don’t need to spend time on activity transfers and get more out of your holiday. The lodges are located approx 35 mins from the airport and are perfect for families looking for a mid-priced, affordable break in the Arctic.

Brandon Lodge has a main lounge and relaxing area with upstairs restaurant and separate cosy cabins. Pine Bay lodge has a combined dining, lounge area with comfortable bedrooms in the same building. You’ll be spoiled by the delicious meals and helpful, friendly staff.

Day 1

Flight from UK via Stockholm
Meet and greet transfer from the airport
Check into your accommodation, Brandon Lodge in Sweden offers individual 2 bedroom cabins with a main lounge and a restaurant. Northern Lights viewing and a sauna/ hot tub can also be booked separately.
Thermal clothing rental of outer suits and boots
Evening 3 course meal at the restaurant showcasing local flavours and ingredients
Night in your accommodation – if the sky is clear don’t forget to look out over the archipelago for the Northern Lights!

Day 2

Breakfast
Nordic Winter Skills – an opportunity to connect with nature as you learn more about the region – how to light a fire, how to use that fire for cooking and warmth and other interesting information about the area. We make hot drinks over the fire and learn about snow shoeing, wildlife and much more. A perfect way to acclimatise to the region and connect with the great outdoors.
3 course dinner
Northern Lights Snowmobile Sledge – take a sledge ride out to the archipelago in search of the Northern Lights. The guides check local forecasts and drive out to an area with the best chance to see the aurora. We drive from island to island and then stop to light a fire and have a hot drink and cake whilst we wait for the Northern Lights.

Day 3

Breakfast
Ice Fishing – experience the beautiful nature and learn about the sea and local conditions. Grasp the opportunity to try your hand at one of the most popular local pastimes. For generations people have fished in both summer and winter in the area and now it’s your turn. We drill a hole into the ice, set our hooks and see what we can catch. If you do get a bite, you have the possibility to take the fish back to the lodge where the chef will prepare it as part of your dinner. We travel to the best fishing spots by snowmobile. Hot drinks and cake are provided during the trip.
