This is the best of the best, the luxury Kelo Glass Igloo at Kakslauttanen Arctic resort is the ultimate cabin for large families or small groups seeking an amazing Winter holiday to Finnish Lapland. This is the only accommodation of this type anywhere in the world and promises to give guests the absolute ‘WOW’ factor. With lots of extras that aren’t included in our regular Kakslauttanen packages, the price represents truly excellent value for money.

Day 1: Welcome to Kakslauttanen

Direct flight from Gatwick to Ivalo (indirect flights available from Heathrow and Manchester)
Private transfer from Ivalo airport to Kakslauttanen

Day 2: Husky Safari & Aurora Reindeer Sleigh

Breakfast
2-hour Husky sleigh safari – Meet the enthusiastic huskies, already eager to run as they wait by the sleds. After a brief lesson on steering, braking, and handling the team, you’ll set off—one person seated, the other driving, with a chance to switch halfway. Glide through the snowy forest, sharing the joy with the dogs. Back at the farm, thank your team and warm up with a hot drink as your guide shares stories from the world of huskies.
Lunch available for purchase at on-site restaurant
Evening meal
2-hour Aurora hunting by reindeer sleigh – Your guide will collect you from the resort and provide thermal gear at the farm. Wrapped in warm blankets, you’ll ride comfortably through the snowy forest in a reindeer-drawn sledge, soaking in the silence and crisp Arctic air. With luck, the Northern Lights may dance overhead. Midway, you’ll pause by an open fire to enjoy hot berry juice and hear stories of reindeer life in Lapland.

Day 3: Snowmobiling

Breakfast
2-hour Snowmobile safari – After pick-up from Kakslauttanen, you’ll gear up in thermal clothing and receive full instructions. Ride in pairs, taking turns behind the handlebars, or opt for your own snowmobile. Then, it’s off into the snowy wilderness, where adrenaline meets the serene beauty of Arctic nature.

Day 4: Time to Go Home
