One of the questions we’re asked a surprising number of times is how do you go to the toilet at the Ice Hotel? Here are some of the most common questions we’re asked on the topic in relation to ICEHOTEL Sweden – the 1st Ice Hotel:
Does the ICEHOTEL have toilet facilities? – Yes, there are toilet facilities at the IceHotel. If you’re staying in the regular cold rooms or art suites, there are toilet and shower cubilcals for you to use. When you stay in a Deluxe cold suite, your room will have its own private toilet and bathroom facilities.
Are the Ice Hotel toilet facilities cold? No. All of the toilet and bathroom facilities on the hotel site are warm. On some of the wilderness tours the toilet facilities are likely to be more basic.
Will my Ice Hotel room have a toilet? If you are staying in the ICEHOTEL warm rooms then your accommodation will have shower, toilet and washroom facilities. When you stay in a Cold room or Art Suite at IceHotel you will be able to access shared sauna, toilet and washroom facilities. If you have a Deluxe cold room at Ice Hotel you will have your own toilet and washroom facilities.
Other Ice hotels have very similar facilities in that where there aren’t private bathrooms in your Ice Room. However you have shared toilet and wash room facilities within a very short walk!
Finally, remember – never eat yellow snow!
