A time for renewal
We might not be able to travel at the moment but it’s the perfect time to sit back and dream of better days. If you need some inspiration, this video showcases some of what Sweden has to offer when we can visit again.
Our suppliers are used to this cycle of rest and renewal during the spring and summer months. The original ICEHOTEL melts slowly back into the Torne river, people head for their summer cabins and at husky farms all across the Arctic, the dogs are winding down from their winter workload.
Huskies don’t spend the whole time asleep in the shade, but their thick coats mean that too much exertion in the summer months is not good for their welfare. On cooler days they’ll pull specially adapted carts or go on walks in the countryside and of course there are puppies – lots of puppies!!
