Are Glass Igloos warm?
Simply, yes! Most of the glass igloos we work with are room temperature – around 20c (70f)
Where is glass igloo located?
Contrary to popular opinion, it’s not Iceland! The original and most Iconic igloos are the Kakslauttanen resort in Finland. We also work with a range of igloo options in other parts of Finland, as well as some in Sweden and Norway. If you’re really looking for something that’s super “out there” then we also work with a resort in Greenland!
Can you sleep in an igloo in Iceland?
Currently, no. The conditions in Iceland are not suitable for snow/ice igloos and there are not currently any glass igloo resorts.
Is there an ice hotel in Iceland?
No, due to the Gulf Stream, Iceland’s weather is not suitable for an Ice hotel
Is there Glass Igloo in Iceland?
There are no glass igloo resorts in Iceland
What is the temp inside an igloo
Snow igloos (and Ice hotels!) are usually around -5c. As above, glass igloos are usually around +20c
Are there glass igloos in Norway?
Yes, There are a few glass roofed options in Norway
When can you see Northern Lights in Finland?
The quick answer is September to early April but you can see more info on our blog.
In which country can you stay in glass igloo to watch Northern Lights?
The most Iconic igloos are in Finland but it is also possible in Sweden, Norway and Greenland!
