Generally you’re looking at temperatures with an average low of approximately -2.2 degrees Celsius (28 F) and the average high temperatures to be 3.3 degrees Celsius (38 F). The weather tends to start to get better towards the end of the month but If you are thinking of travelling to Iceland in March, it is certainly not warm
Make sure you prepare for wind and rain, generally better conditions than Nov – Feb however we can never promise certain conditions – March in Iceland tends to be cold, wet and windy. The weather in Iceland is unpredictable.
March is also the last month really you’d have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights as the days are starting to get brighter.
