Northern Lights Village Saariselka can be found in a quiet and private location right next to vast wilderness, away from the buzz of the areas bigger hotels and resorts. In the Northern Lights Village, you are provided with cosy and comfortable, glass roof aurora cabins, fantastic activities and the services of the first-rate restaurant Kota that specializes in the local foods of Lapland.

Why not tick the Northern Lights off your bucket list this winter? Whilst never guaranteed, The Aurora Cabins at the Northern Lights Village Saariselka are a fantastic way to experience the Northern Lights and the wintry star-filled sky, while lying comfortably in the warm bed. The glass roof, which is laser-heated, gives a clear view of the northern sky, directly above the king size bed.

2 hour Husky safari – Experience the thrill of a husky safari as you glide over Lapland’s snowy fells and forests behind a team of eager huskies. Departing right from the resort, this unforgettable adventure lets each guest take the reins of a two-person sleigh for a fast-paced ride through untouched winter landscapes.
Evening meal
3 hour Aurora hunting by snowmobile – Embark on a nighttime snowmobile adventure through silent, snow-covered forests and up into the fells, far from city lights. At the top, gather by the fire with warm drinks and snacks as you watch the starry sky for the Northern Lights. Capture unforgettable photos or simply take in the magical landscape.

Breakfast
Enjoy a peaceful reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy forest. Glide silently among frosted trees, enveloped by the serene beauty of Lapland’s pristine wilderness—a truly magical experience that captures the essence of the Arctic. After your ride, warm up with a delicious soup lunch, rye bread, and a cup of warm berry juice. Before you depart, you’ll have the chance to feed the reindeer their favourite treat – lichen!
