White Sea

The White Sea will be the base for this week long ice diving holiday. Whether you have been ice diving before or it is a new experience the package can be open to any qualified divers although AOWD with dry suit experience/Sport diver qualifications are preferable. If you are not already a qualified ice diver or have at least 5 ice dives under your weight belt then an ice diving course will be recommended on arrival. Once qualified you will be experiencing visibility of up to 50 metres, ice hummocks and rifts, amazing soft corals and a great variety of fish and sea life. Heated huts are placed over the ice for your comfort and there even heated toilets and a “restaurant” cabin on the ice for lunch!

Available from mid-January – mid-April for Ice diving and year round for other diving.

Package 7 nights:

Flights from Heathrow or Manchester to Kuusamo via Helsinki
Car transfer to White Sea (approx 7 hours)
Standard plus accommodation - ensuite
2 day PADI ice diving qualification (3 dives, includes course material and certification)
2 days ice diving, 4 dives
1 beluga whale dive (or further day of Ice diving)
Possibility to see Northern Lights in the evening

Dry suit qualification can be taken at the resort although we do recommend that divers already have dry suit experience. Our staff have been to the resort and tried the diving and are happy to answer your questions – please feel free to ask for guidance.
