Spend one night in an old fashion forest cottage.
Get the taste of the culture and the never ending silence in a world of legends. Experience reindeers and “king of the forest” the moose, visit the famous Ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi and learn how to drive a snowmobile. This tour offers both activities and gives you the chance to relax and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Day 1
- Direct flight from UK
- Transfer to Pine Tree Lodge
- Check in to room
- Issue of Quality Arctic clothing rental
- Meeting with guides over 3 course meal
- Northern Lights evening with glögg (Swedish mulled wine) by open fire
Day 2
- Breakfast
- Day Snowmobile safari with outside lunch – cover approx 50km of the local forests and lakes. Possibility to see local wildlife, moose, reindeer, wolverine, ptarmigan, arctic hare and more
- Evening meal at the lodge
Day 3
- Breakfast
- Day free for use of snow shoes or cross country skiing. If needed guides/instruction can be booked locally
- Lunch and evening meal included.
Day 4
- Breakfast
- Full day of activity:
- Visit to moose park with possibility to feed the king of the forest, lunch is served at the moose park.
- After lunch continue to Icehotel where you can explore the unique structure which is rebuilt every year.
- Dinner at the lodge
Day 5
- Breakfast
- Departure for 2 day husky safari
- After packing the sledges you receive instruction on how to drive your sledge. The dogs that are harnessed up bark with excitement as they are prepared but as soon as the sledges start it is silent and all you can hear is the runners on the snow. Soon you get used to the driving of the sledge and you can enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings.
- Break for outside lunch after about 20-30km.
- After lunch a further 20-30 kilometres you arrive at a wilderness cabin.
- The dogs are the first priority and will be settled to their spaces and there are plenty of jobs for everybody – collecting water, starting the fires for the cabin and the sauna and making the dogs their meal. You can then take a walk around the area or have a sauna whilst your guide prepares the evening meal.
- Later on it may be possible to see the northern lights dancing overhead.
Day 6
- Breakfast
- In the early morning cold the dogs will be eager to run and after harnessing the dogs and packing up camp there is a mush of about an hour or so back to Pine Tree Lodge.
- Lunch and dinner at the Lodge.
Day 7
- Breakfast
- After saying your goodbyes it is a transfer back to the airport for your return home.
